Wasted by Tara Lynn Somewhere in the rose garden, I lost my sense of time. I stopped but for a second, and then it came to mind. Should I return home tonight, to pretend that it's all right? Or shall I sleep here with pleasant blossom and thorn? Though this path I know is worn. Going back to same old pain is as if to go without umbrella in the rain. And so I said I'll stay instead. And sleep a peaceful dream. When and if they miss me. If they should seek me out, i shall be here resting. Or wandering about.
